There are three ways to get SLIDE:

• Download the RPM from Tresys Technology
• Use the Eclipse update site
• SVN Checkout

Platform Support

SLIDE has been tested on Fedora Core 4 and Fedora Core 5 running Eclipse and Fedora Eclipse and RedHat Enterprise Linux 4. In addition SLIDE should work on other Linux distributions where Eclipse and SELinux can be installed.

Dependencies

The following dependencies must be met to install and use SLIDE.

• Eclipse SDK 3.1
• Reference Policy
• Setools
• CheckPolicy version 1.28 or newer

Get the RPM

To download an RPM from from the Tresys Technology website, click the link below.

Eclipse Update Site

From the main menu click "Find and Install..."

'Help -> Software Updates -> Find and Install...'

Select 'Search for new features to install' and click 'Next'.

Click 'New Remote Site...' and fill in the following information -

Name: SELinux Policy IDE (SLIDE)

URL: http://www.tresys.com/files/eclipse-update/

SVN Checkout

Use the following command to checkout the current development repository:

svn co https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/selinux-ide/trunk
